Star of Danu Sacred Readers Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern access to Star of Danu Sacred Readers, a service of Star of Danu LLC.

1. Agreement and related policies

By creating an account, booking or participating in a session, or otherwise using Sacred Readers, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked in the Legal & Safety Center. Those policies address payments, refunds, reviews, communications, content, privacy, live sessions, safety and other specific features and are incorporated into these Terms to the extent applicable.

2. Adults only and account responsibility

Sacred Readers is intended only for adults age 18 or older. You must provide accurate information, maintain the security of your credentials and payment methods, and use only accounts you are authorized to use. Accounts may not be shared, impersonated or used to evade a restriction.

3. Marketplace role and Sacred Readers

Star of Danu operates the technology, marketplace, scheduling, payment and safety systems that connect customers with independent Sacred Readers. Readers set their own permitted rates and availability within platform rules and are not presented as licensed medical, legal, mental-health, tax, investment or other professional advisers unless a separate Star of Danu service expressly states otherwise.

4. Spiritual guidance and no guaranteed outcomes

Readings are offered for spiritual exploration, reflection and conversation. No Reader or platform feature can guarantee a prediction, outcome, relationship result, financial result, healing, removal of a curse or alteration of the future. Customers remain responsible for their own decisions and should use qualified professionals or emergency services when appropriate. See the Spiritual Guidance Disclaimer.

5. Sessions, scheduling and extensions

Session method, duration and price are shown before purchase. Supported methods may include video, phone and text. Scheduled sessions are subject to Reader acceptance where the product indicates an appointment request rather than instant booking. Extensions are optional, priced before purchase and may be unavailable because of the Reader’s schedule or status. Platform timing and late-arrival rules are described in the Live Session Rules.

6. Prices, authorization and payment

You authorize the displayed charge when you confirm a purchase. Payment processing may be provided by a third-party processor. Star of Danu does not intentionally store full payment-card numbers in its application database. Taxes, processor requirements and other disclosed charges may apply. See the Payment Policy.

7. Cancellations, refunds and service problems

Eligibility for cancellation, refund, credit or other adjustment is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy shown before or in connection with the transaction. Nothing in that policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

8. Free minutes, promotions and recognition

Promotional credits, Reader-funded free minutes, loyalty or recognition levels, discounts and seasonal programs may have eligibility, expiration, non-transferability and other conditions. They have no cash value unless the applicable terms expressly state otherwise. See Promotions & Recognition Terms.

9. Communications and Reader Mail

Users may receive transactional email, in-platform messages and, when separately opted in, SMS relating to bookings, sessions, account activity and service operations. Promotional communications are subject to separate consent and opt-out controls where required. Harassment, spam, scraping, bulk solicitation and attempts to obtain private contact information are prohibited. See the Messaging & Anti-Spam Policy and Mobile Messaging Terms.

10. Reviews and user content

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and comply with the Reviews & Feedback Policy. Users retain rights they lawfully hold in content they submit but grant Star of Danu the permissions reasonably necessary to host, display, moderate and operate the requested platform feature. Users must have the rights needed to submit any image, video, text or other material.

11. Prohibited conduct

Users may not engage in fraud, impersonation, threats, harassment, discrimination, stalking, sexual exploitation, unlawful activity, malware, platform circumvention, payment evasion, review manipulation, unauthorized scraping or access, or attempts to compromise accounts or systems. Additional customer and Reader requirements appear in the Customer Guidelines, Star of Danu Marketplace Rules and other Legal & Safety policies.

12. Privacy, screening and third-party services

Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy. Sacred Reader applicants may also be subject to a third-party background-screening process after conditional approval and before final approval. Screening is governed by separate disclosure and authorization steps and the Background Screening Policy. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices.

13. Recordings and transcripts

Star of Danu does not record or transcribe phone or video readings and does not offer audio or video recording features. Written chat readings are saved as text transcripts in the customer’s My Readings area. Readers and customers must not independently record sessions without appropriate authorization from Star of Danu and all participants. This includes screen recording, audio capture and recording with external devices. Star of Danu does not offer a recording feature and cannot technically prevent every form of external recording. 14. Intellectual property

The Star of Danu names, logos, artwork, site design and other protected platform materials may not be copied or used commercially without permission except as allowed by law. See the Trademark & Intellectual Property Notice.

15. Enforcement, suspension and termination

Star of Danu may investigate reported conduct and may warn, restrict, pause, suspend or close an account when reasonably necessary to address safety, fraud, abuse, payment risk, legal obligations or material policy violations. Where practical and appropriate, users may receive notice or an opportunity to contact support. Immediate action may be taken when safety or platform integrity requires it.

16. Service availability

We work to keep Sacred Readers available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Reader availability, communications providers, payment processors, internet services and other dependencies may affect the service.

17. Service disclaimers, liability and your responsibilities

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sacred Readers and its website are offered on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee a prediction, interpretation or personal outcome, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Reader availability, internet connections and third-party services can affect access. These statements do not remove the commitments expressly made in our booking, payment and refund policies.

Where applicable law permits, Star of Danu is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence or any liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited. Statutory warranties and consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be waived remain available.

You are responsible for using the service lawfully and for your own account activity and submitted content. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse Star of Danu for direct losses that a court with authority determines resulted from your fraud, intentional unlawful use or material breach of these Terms. This obligation does not cover losses caused by Star of Danu’s own wrongdoing and does not impose a penalty for an honest review or complaint.

18. Resolving disputes and protecting your rights

If you have a concern, please contact hello@starofdanu.com, use Help & Contact, or open the private Dispute Resolution Center for the reading involved. Include the reading or payment reference, what happened and the resolution you are requesting. We will make a reasonable effort to review the available information, hear from the people involved and resolve the matter in good faith. Case decisions and explanations are recorded, and additional information may be submitted through the case’s review or appeal process.

This support process does not prevent you from disputing a payment, contacting a regulator, using a court or seeking another remedy available under applicable law. It is not a mandatory waiting period and does not extend a legal filing deadline. These Terms do not require binding arbitration or waive your right to bring a claim in court, request a jury where available, participate in a class proceeding where permitted, or share an honest review.

Applicable law and the court with authority are determined by the relevant legal rules; these Terms do not select an exclusive court location. Mandatory consumer protections continue to apply. If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, it will be limited to its lawful scope or severed where necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

19. Changes to these Terms

Star of Danu may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes will be communicated in a manner appropriate to the change and applicable law. The current effective date will be displayed on the published version.

Usernames and account identity

Choose a respectful username. Usernames must not contain profanity, slurs, sexually explicit language, threats or harassment. Do not impersonate a Sacred Reader, another member, Star of Danu staff or an official platform account, or choose a name that misleadingly suggests affiliation or authority. Star of Danu may require a username change or restrict an account that violates these rules.
