Recording & Transcription Notice

1. Text sessions

Star of Danu does not record or transcribe phone or video readings and does not offer audio or video recording features. Written chat readings are saved as text transcripts in the customer’s My Readings area. Written transcripts are available to the customer through their signed-in My Readings area and to the participating reader through their session history. They are stored as service records, not publicly displayed. Authorized access may also be needed for support, safety, disputes or legal obligations.

2. Phone sessions

Star of Danu does not record or transcribe phone readings. We do not offer customers or readers an option to enable audio recording.

3. Video sessions

Star of Danu does not record or transcribe video readings. We do not offer customers or readers an option to enable video recording.

4. Customer copies and privacy

Readers and customers must not independently record sessions without appropriate authorization from Star of Danu and all participants. This includes screen recording, audio capture and recording with external devices. Star of Danu does not offer a recording feature and cannot technically prevent every form of external recording. Written transcripts remain stored with the reading; no automatic transcript-deletion period is currently applied by the application. Removing a reading from your list hides it and does not erase the stored transcript. The data-retention preference does not automatically delete transcripts. You may request deletion through our privacy request process; account-deletion requests are reviewed and do not immediately erase records. Some records may be retained for legal, accounting, dispute or safety purposes as described in this policy. Communication providers process technical information needed to connect calls, such as participant connection details, call times, duration and service logs. Star of Danu also retains booking, billing and operational records. These records are distinct from an audio or video recording or a transcript of spoken conversation.
