Background Screening Will Be Required Soon

Star of Danu is preparing its background-screening program for Sacred Readers. The screening service is not yet active, but background screening will become a required part of Reader approval when the program opens.

1. What this means now

If you are applying or preparing to become a Sacred Reader before screening is available, you may continue through the stages Star of Danu has opened to you. Completing those stages does not waive the future screening requirement.

2. What will happen when screening opens

Star of Danu will send eligible Readers or applicants a separate notice with instructions. The screening provider will collect the sensitive information it needs directly through its own secure system. Star of Danu does not plan to collect Social Security numbers, identity-document images or similar screening credentials in its ordinary Reader application.

3. Your status remains conditional where applicable

Any Reader status granted before the screening program becomes active may remain subject to successful completion of the screening requirement and any other final onboarding requirements. Star of Danu will communicate the deadline and process before requiring action.

4. Fair review

A record will not automatically mean rejection. Star of Danu’s final process is intended to use individualized, role-related review where required and to preserve applicable consumer-report rights, including any required pre-adverse and adverse-action steps.

5. We will give notice before the requirement begins

Star of Danu will not silently change this requirement. Readers and applicants affected by the change will receive clear instructions when the screening program is ready.
